Drinker Class X - Giveaway!

Drinker Class X is being released next week on October 30 (just in time for Halloween!). I'm really happy with this story, and I hope ya'll will like it as well. ^__^ I wholeheartedly and completely blame it and all my other vampires on Megan, b/c when I started this writing stuff I was vehemently anti-vampire in any way, shape, or form. She has convinced me otherwise, so you can blame my bastardizations on her. :3

In any case, to celebrate, I'm throwing a giveaway because why not. Comment on the website post (not on the cross-posted LJ post*) with your favorite Halloween candy or tradition. Giveaway is open until Wednesday, October 30th around noon Eastern Time (basically if I haven't commented with the winners, you're good to enter). I will pick two winners with random.org and they'll have 24 hours to claim their prize of any e-format of Drinker Class X that they would like.

If you'd like to just buy the book (I LOVE YOU), it's on preorder until Tuesday, October 29 for 15% off at LT3. ^__^

Drinker Class X

Drinker Class X
Bitten on the job, Laurence is left to readjust to living as one of the drinkers he has always hunted. In order to be declared a stable citizen—and get back to work—he must attend a series of court-mandated sessions with a psychiatrist specializing in newly-turned drinkers.

The worst part of being a drinker, besides adjusting to life without sunlight, is that it's mostly doctors and red tape and tedium—right up until it isn't.

(*I'll shut comments off there, but if LJ has opened that up on me in the past after I close it, so just in case.)

  1. My favorite Halloween candy is the candy pumpkins. I find myself eating them until I feel sick, then still reaching for them, lol. I also used to really like dressing up and going trick or treating, but I'm too old for that now.

  2. My favorite candy is Three Musketeers. I love the creamy chocolate centers. These days for Halloween I put on a pair of cat ears and give out candy at the door. I go all out with my costume for Purim, so Halloween is a little more mellow for me.

  3. I'm right there with Mell. My favorite is Three Musketeers. I love eating them chocolate first, then the gooey center all on its own. Ever since moving into this new neighborhood, we do a little hot chocolate stand to warm kids up. With a hugee thing of hot chocolate, we have chilly kids coming to get some warmth. Needless to say, they love it!

  4. I love the creativity that goes into halloween, everyone trying to decide on their pumpkin and what to wear. Trying to have the most inventive costume is always a fun contest.

  5. Favorite candy - gotta go with m&m's. Favorite tradition - greeting the trick-or-treater's with my pet (non-venomous) bright orange and white corn snake on my shoulder. The kids loved it and the parents always asked if it was dangerous. I also like to play the original 1938 audio broadcast of War of the Worlds.
I'm looking forward to reading Drinker Class X, whether or not I win. Winning will just make it sooner ;-)

  6. Every year, the weekend after Halloween, my friends and I gorge ourselves on discounted Halloween candy and marathon Nightmare before Christmas, Corpse Bride, and Coraline. This year, we're adding Frankenweenie, Paranorman, and Hotel Transylvania, because why not. My favorite candy is the caramel apple suckers, so we always get a big back of those for me to nurse through the marathon.
